Objectives

In the frames of transition to the Industry 4.0 issues related to industrial safety become of the highest importance. Development of novel managerial approaches, state-of-the-art technologies, with high energy demand, scarcity of recourses and ageing society result in necessity to train highly skilled specialists who are capable of balancing these issues to provide safe industrial environment both for human and ecosystem.

MISE program is an innovative Master program that has combined best teaching excellence of Bauman Moscow State Technical University known as education through science with the most advanced world teaching approaches and expertise of leading Russian scientists in the area of risk management and disaster mitigation.

Training

After completion of the program students will be awarded a diploma of Master of Science in the area of Technosphere Safety (Safety of the man-made environment) majoring in Industrial Safety in Bauman Moscow State Technical University

Academic period lasts two years (4 semesters): September – December and February – June. Study includes Mission at the university for pedagogical practicum and professional mission (July August).

Also academic period includes research activity that would take in total 1/4 of total study load.

Place: Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow.

Teaching is performed by professionals and academics.

Research activity is supervised by the professors of the university and may be carried out at the enterprise interested in contribution.

  • GIS-technologies for risk analysis at hazardous objects
  • Risk analysis in case of emergencies in coastal areas
  • System analysis and processes modelling in technosphere
  • Economics of environment safety
  • Methodology of scientific research

Also the program includes two course projects in “Risk and reliability of technical systems” and in “Project Appraisal on Safety and Ecology”.
